Yes you can take cocodamol and ibuprofen together, You should take the cocodamol in between taking the ibuprofen at four to six hour intervals. The ibuprofen is prescribed for arthritus as it is an anti inflamatory and the cocodamol is a pain killer.

Sure, you can take cocodamol and ibuprofen together, but why would you want to? They both help with pain, but in different ways. It's like mixing a margarita with a martini - they might both get you drunk, but it's not the best idea. If you're considering it, just chat with a pharmacist or doctor first to make sure you're not setting off a party in your stomach.

Yes, it is generally safe to take cocodamol (which contains codeine and paracetamol) and ibuprofen together, as they work through different mechanisms to relieve pain. However, it is important to follow the recommended dosages for each medication and not exceed the maximum daily dose of either drug. It is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before combining these medications to ensure it is appropriate for your specific situation, as there may be individual factors to consider such as existing medical conditions or other medications being taken.

Yes. Co-codamol contains paracetamol and codeine, there should be no interaction between those and Ibuprofen. Do not take with paracetamol, as this is already in Cocodamol you risk overdosing. Source: Informed of this in hospital when given Cocodamol and Ibuprofen together.

Cocodamol is combination of codeine and paracetamol. It can in theory be combined with ibuprofen and extra paracetamol, but since paracetamol can get VERY toxic above a certain threshold, it is not recommended to do so. The threshold for paracetamol lies at about 4000mg total per day (including the paracetamol in the cocodamol). If you have taken more than that, please contact you doctor immediatly.

Ibuprofen is fairly safe in regular doses, but won't add much to the analgesic (pain-killing) effect of paracetamol. Since Ibuprofen is not very healthy at the long-term, I would recommend against taking it.

Yes you can, but you can only take 400 mg (two 200mg tablets) of ibuprofen and 16 (two 8 mg tablets) of co-codamol. It's only advised that you take the two together if advised or in sever pain, and should only be taken for a short time being a few days 3-5 maximum. If you need to take them both leave up to 6 hours between doses and do seek medical advise if the pain does not subside.

I would ask your doctor, cocodomal is a very strong drug and taking the two wouldn't sound like a great idea to me not unless prescribed. Multiple drugs can really upset your stomach, giving you nausea and ulcers etc and they might react badly together.

Ask your doctor.

Hope this helps.
