Can you take Vyvanse with Effexor XR?

I had that same question. I believe it was drugs.com that cautioned me to an interaction between the two after my doctor prescribed me both together. I contacted the pharmacy, and the pharmacist felt it was fine, but looked it up for me anyway and said yes, it's fine. It's been an absolute miracle for me, and after looking online, I see there are many many people taking such combinations. Talk to your pharmacist if you are concerned!

Can you? Yes. Is it highly cautioned against? YES!! Ever heard of serotonin syndrome? I hadn't before I Changed my meds from pristiq and vyvanse to Luvox and vyvanse. With SSRIs and many drugs that affect the serotonin levels in your brain there's a chance of serotonin toxicity.. But Luvox and vyvanse are particularly toxic together or so I read on website after website a couple days AFTER my luvox induced mini psychotic episode. Instead of listing all the symptoms of serotonin syndrome I'll put it like this: basically your'e poisoned from serotonin.. I was on Luvox for OCD depression and anxiety and vyvanse for add now think of how all those different disorders make you feel (jacked, anxious, twitchy, depressed, etc.) then throw in some confusion, fever, depersonalzation, and thanks to the common side effect of Luvox.. Hallucinations! That stuff might not happen to everyone, but I've been treated for all that stuff for over 10 years, have had many different combinations of the same types of drugs and never experienced anything like that in my life! It was horrifying! So talk with your doctor, get on the right dose for the right amount of time and maybe it will be right for you, that's for you and your doctor to determine... But nobody knows you and your body better than you do if something's not feeling right don't ignore it just because a doctor says its fine based off statistics of other people.. That's what happened to me. And finally research, research, research!

I take Vyvance® 70mg in the am and Lyrica® 150 3x Day.

I do fine on it...Lyrica® somewhat seems to help take the edge off of the Vyvance crash (although Vyvance is a long acting Rx and the crash is minimal compared to Adderal®

It should be safe to take both, especially if you are taking the Elavil in the evening in order to help with sleep.

Yes, but they kind of cancel each other out. (I know because I am on this combination).
