A guarded Yes. Skelaxin (Metaxalone) and Naproxyn serve different functions. Metaxalone is a muscle relaxant and Naproxyn is an anti-inflamatory. What's more, their pharmokinetics are significantly different, so interaction problems are not overtly likely. I have not been able to find any direct synergy or contraindication between these two drugs. I would assume that these two medications can be taken in conjunction, at the proper dosages, with no ill effects derrived from an interaction. That said, these are both prescription medications and, while neither is especially dangerous if adminstered correctly under a doctor's care, this question should be properly addressed to a medical doctor. Note that I do not offer this as medical advice, nor do I represent myself to be a healthcare professional.
Of course. I am guessing you got these prescribed because a car accident? Someone rear ended me today with her going 60 and me parked, major whiplash, and the doc gave me both of these. But yeah, you definitely can take together. *** The two are commonly prescribed together. Do be careful. I was given them after a car accident and the combination of the two made me act really weird. I felt really aggressive, lost track of time, was confused, upset, kind of delusional. I'd have someone else around to watch you before you take the two of them together. I could have really hurt myself if my husband hadn't been there. flexiril = depressant...careful
Have done it with no bad effects!
I have taken both together but not on a regular basis. And I wonder the same thing since I have 20 meds in my cabinet from the past 20 Dr visits and the 2-3 medications he will prescribe on each visit.
Now like many...what was given to take together and what should not be taken in combination.
Yes, one is a non-narcotic pain reliever and the other is a muscle relaxer. I am currently on Zoloft for anxiety and I had an issue with my back. The two drugs might cause possible bleeding of the stomach if I'm not careful or drink alcohol with it, but alone they're safe and at the most might make you more relaxed and sleepy. Just don't drive commercially or operate heavy machinery.
Can you take kalms and naproxen together
can you take gravol and naproxen tgether
arthrotec and naproxen

No!
Yes; Singulair has no drug-drug interactions.
Yes you can
No, you can't take Ibuprofen with Naproxen as long as both are NSAID. Naproxen is stronger so you might prefer this one with Flexeril.
You should not take naproxen 500mg and hydrocodone acetaminophen together for pleurisy. Only take the medicines your doctor prescribes.
No, do not take two pain killers together - you will get an overdose and harm your liver and kidneys.
no it is dangerous and deadily
Sure but best lay off the Elavil all together. That stuff can make you crazy and combining the two can produce odd mental reactions.
