If you were prescribed Vyvanse and had been taking it for a while, you would know how the medicine acts in your body. And it's not my recommendation, but I believe then..you would be fine. You get used to the drug to where it's normal. I don't think the passengers of the plane would like to know their pilot is on anything that could interfere with him/her flying the plane.
Sorry, but FAA regulations govern this, and you can't acquire and maintain a pilot's license while on Vyvanse or almost anything else that heavily affects the central nervous system. This includes, but is not limited to the vast majority of stimulants, amphetamines (including Vyvanse), barbiturates, and sedatives.
You can acquire and maintain a license with ADHD, if you and your doctors are certain it can be managed with approved medications or without medication. You will also need some degree of diet, exercise, therapy, study, and other, holistic approaches to mental health and fitness. This takes a very special kind of commitment and dedication to yourself, to safety, and to the world at large who you will share the airways with.
You don't need a license if you maintain daytime VFR conditions in an ultralight aircraft, balloon, glider, paramotor, hangglider, etc. as long as you are safe and know how the medication affects you, both near the ground and at higher altitudes and while pulling a G or 2. Granted, you won't be especially high AGL because of airspace restrictions, but in some situations with class G and E airspace you may operate out of you could actually be as high as 14,000 ft. or more. Even though you will usually be "only" be 1,200 ft AGL or less. this still allows for some very beautiful views and experiences, so long as your medication and mental health conditions do not interfere with your ability to safely operate the aircraft.
Many with ADHD and on ADHD medications are energetic, in good shape, and are not heavyset, making us good candidates for ultralight flight. :) Good luck and fly safe. ~

Can Cause Serotonin disease. I am on zoloft and take vyvanse every once in a while. The two together increase the symptons felt when taking a vyvanse. Its pretty sweet
Can you take excedrin migraine while taking Vyvanse?
DON'T DO IT! Technically you can, but Excedrin migrate has caffeine in it, enough that when I took it while on vyvanse, my heart was racing and I could not stop vommitting. If you can drink a bunch of coffee while on vyvanse, you probably won't have an issue with the Excedrin migrane, but be careful when taking too many stimulants at the same time.

You are not alone on this. I've only been on Vyvanse for the three days and I've had two Lucid Dreams in a row that have happened completely on impulse. If you are having too many strange dreams though, I would recommend you talk with your doctor. But yes, strange vivd dreams, nightmares, and even memorable Lucid Dreams are perfectly normal to have while taking over 20 milligrams of Vyvanse.

NO! well to be honest it depends on the person for me when i drank monster (lo-carb) on vyvanse I feel the negative side effects such as the dry mouth and shakes, anxiety etc, the caffiene causes these side effects from what I know since i've been fine with just vyvanse alone. be weary of your decisions
