Wellbutrin XL "slows" the digestive tract causing the food to remain in our systems longer. I guess it's one of those drugs that affects everyone differently. Like my Multiple Sclerosis med. I've been small my whole life and NEVER did I gain weight (130lbs) only when I was pregnant. My good weight was at 122. Amazing how different 8lbs makes me look. I don't like it at all. :0(
