Parasympathomimetics are cholinergics. They effect the muscarinic receptors sites and cause bronchoconstriction or cause the closing of airways.

Parasympatholytics are anticholinergics. They block the muscarinic receptor sites and prevent bronchoconstriction or prevent closing of airways.
