i honestly could say i have hospital phobia. manly because I'm scared of needles and everytime I've been to a hospital someone i love dies, so they scare me a little. but that could just be me and my experiences.

ANSWER:

There's 2 types of fear when it comes to hospitals.

First, you have those people who are afraid of having needles or tubes running through their bodies. People who are fearful that they may die, because hospitals are full of germs. If someone special dies while in the hospital, such as a grandparent, many believe they will die too if they are forced to stay there for treatment.

The second group are those people who want to be in the hospital. There are those who may get just a sniffle, they are convinced that they are dying, and want medical attention quickly. Some are scared of catching germs, and feel that they may develop something if that don't get medical help right away.
