There are usually two to three doctors on a shift in an average sized emergency room. The other members of the trauma and triage teams include interns, nurses, physician assistants (PA's) and a charge nurse. Specialists from other departments can be called in if there is a need for them; most of the time these are surgeons, pediatric residents and orthopedics.
9988 work in the hospital
There are many people and here are a FEW. Doctor nurse janitor accountant cleaner surgeon just use your imagination and think, who have you seen when you went to the hospital?
There are many good reasons to work in a hospital. It is always nice to be able to help people. Even if you do not want to be a nurse or doctor, there are many jobs available. Helping people get better, helping people deal with the loss/sickness of a loved one, or working on the maternity floor where new life comes into the world are all great reasons.
There are so many people who can be helped. Alleviation of suffering requires empathy and compassion, along with expert medical care. Leading a clinical team in the hospital setting is both a responsibility and a privilege. Overseeing the recovery of the vast majority of people who enter the hospital can be very satisfying.
It depends. If you are working in a hospital obviously more but if your working at a private practice then less or possibly by yourself.

I work in an area of about 150,000 people and our hospital has about 200 beds. We employ around 25-30 technicians at any given time and around 15 pharmacists.
The personnel in any company consists of the people who work there. The employees are the personnel. In a hospital, personnel is everyone from the doctors and nurses to the people who do the billing.
