Usually you will have subcutaneous sutures placed to close the holes through which the cameras and laparoscopic tools were placed in order to do your surgery. You should not see the sutures, and they will absorb on their own. You may see steri-strips, which are used to provide some extra support to the subcutaneous sutures and protect the incision.
