My pomeranian occasionally snores. I am not sure why she does so but I also have a shitzu who snores all the time. I was told by the vet that this is because his nostrils are too small. Some dogs with this problem need surgery if they have trouble breathing but pomeranians are not known to have this problem so I am sure yours will be fine.

They are not the only breeds. I have a boxer that snores louder than any human I have ever heard.

Pugs snore because there muzzles are to small and the noses are so flat that the air ways get clogged with mucus easier.

Pugs have short snots because they are inbreed, they have been "combined" with so many other dogs to become what they are today that they have short snots.
