The reason for this is because you are straining the muscles in your back. The human body is not used to such extensions, especially if these extensions are prolonged for a period of time. It is not suggested to continually lean forward or lean forward for long periods of time in order to keep your back muscles strong.

Assuming this is a new model V70 rather than the classic shape you have to rock your body in the direction you want to go ie to recline push the back button and lean back or to go forward push the front button and lean forward......the seat pivots accordingly

Yes it does! The fat causes pain to your stomach, to your back for lugging it around, to your legs when you walk, to your feet, to your self esteem..and the stretch marks never go away! Also you can only sit down and lean back, you can never lean forward because the fat shoves into your legs. That hurts.
