well, that is an interesting ? and the answer is: some swimmers, have long and lean muscles, wrestlers have big and bulgy musclea like: football players,gymnasts,Basketball players,track runners ans OS on. oh and the hammer throw muscles are just amazing to me.

The shape of your muscles depends on the tipe of exercise that you do,its a matter of bulk or tone, bulk would efect your muscle by making it bigger giving its a waterly look to it, however toneing would more compress the muscle making it harder.
