Did you have an ear infection any time before this 'gland' started discharging? If yes, then may be it's a complication of that ear infection (otitis media), called zygomatic abscess.
But if this 'gland' has been there since childhood, then probably it's an infected preauricular sinus/fistula. I suggest you visit an ENT specialist as early as possible.
