∙ 15y agoThe health teacher told us that the only 100% effective way of preventing pregnancy was to practice abstinence.
The birth control pill, if used correctly, has over a 98% chance of preventing pregnancy. Other methods with high efficacy in preventing pregnancy include the Depo-Provera injection as well as birth control implants and IUDs. However, the most effective form of birth control is abstinence.
The purpose of these hormones is to prevent pregnancy; they are about 99% effective in achieving this goal.
When used correctly, condoms are highly effective in preventing pregnancy. However, no form of contraception is 100% guaranteed. It is possible for condoms to fail, which could result in pregnancy.
it is effective to a point..but not always. you can still get pregnant using birth control. its a big preventor of pregnancy but its still possible to get pregnant.
That is not a safe or effective method of preventing pregnancy.
Unless they break during intercourse.
The only way to make sure you don’t get pregnant is to not have inercourse. Every other way is not 100% effective.

In order to be 99.9% proteced from pregnancy while on birth control, you must properly take your birth control.If you are using birth control pills, you must take your birth control every day and at the same time everyday to remain 99.9% protected from pregnancy.
NO ! ONLY contraception or abstinence can prevent pregnancy !
Taking the birth control pill every other day is not effective at preventing pregnancy.
