Why has evolution not eliminated short sighted people?
Generally because people who are short sighted (vision - not in thought) will reproduce just like people who are not short sighted. A trait is only lost from a species if it inhibits the reproductive success of the carrier. But in the humans' social environment, people who are short sighted continue to have offspring who are short sighted as well. In other words, a standard for marriage (and other unions) is not determined by perfect eyesight.The only way for the gene for short sightedness to be eliminated would be for those who are short sighted to be eliminated from the population.
What would cause an image to appear blured?
If it is at a distance then heat would, the same way a Mirage works, the heat rising blurrs the picture, also if you are long/short sighted or other eye problems
If youre near sighted is there a way to bring back your original clear vision so I dont have to use glasses or contacts or once you get near sighted youre like that for life?
Do you mean short sighted? Well the truth is I'm short sighted and i wear glasses. If you become short sighted, long sighted or whatever then yes it is like that forever, Unless they find a cure that's what my optometrist told me. But don't worry it's not so bad i just got my glasses yesterday (i have no idea when your going to read this so let's just say 16 December 2009 :) ) and they really help! What is a common way to fix nearsightedness?
Too much computer will definately cause short sightedness. Did you use that much computer as a young child? So limiting yourself to eg 30min of computer a day for non-work related stuff. At least it will prevent you from going even more short sighted.

Far sighted. you can tell this by this way: Near-sighted- you can sight nearby things. Far sighted- you can sight far away things.
