Eat as normal (3 meals a day etc) but with as little fat as possible. This is because the gall stones are created from fat or cholesteral so this helps prevent them from growing and causing more problems.

You can eat what you want but to avoid pain then you want to avoid the following foods:

Fatty foods (this is biggest thing)

greasy food

Fizzy drinks

Alcohol

Anything that will make you bloat

Certain things will affect you more than others, i found if i had cheese, or baked beans i was in agony for days.
