What is wrong with committing suicide?

This is a very debatable question, but I will try to answer it in the most objective way.

At the end of the day, what is 'right' and what is 'wrong' is deemed by the society in which we live, or by the religion in which you believe. Suicide is against the law of most countries, and so in theory is wrong. However, some humanitarians argue that the right to end your life is the logical extension of the right to life, right that we all have under the UN declaration of human rights. This debate continues daily on an international scale.

With suicide, I think that right and wrong doesn't come into it as much as the fact that ending your life will mean you are gone, and you will not get a chance to do things with family and friends that would be brilliant. If you are contemplating suicide, then you should seek medical advice immediately, but what you need to remember is that your life is worth living, however desperate and bleak your life may be looking. If you are thinking about committing suicide due to a medical condition, such as depression, then it is advised by the medical community that you are under constant supervision.

So, in answer to the question, what is wrong with suicide is that it is denying you and your family time together to do all the wonderful things that you have the ability to do.
