As of 2013, Valve's Steam Box is still in beta testing, and no release date has been announced yet.
Under the glove box it is in a big black box it
The "curb stop" is the valve that is on the service from the main into your house. i.e. The 8" main in the street has a saddle tap with your 3/4" service line on it. Within 8 ft of the connection between your service and the main is your curb stop. The curb stop is a valve buried underground. In order to open/close the valve a curb box is placed over the valve. It is essentially a metal tube that lets you open and close the curb stop.
I really don't know about the dual carb set up but it generally starts in the valve cover and ends at the pcv valve which is screwed in the intake manifold. The pcv valve is under the carbs. If you look up from the bottom of the car there is a black box right next to the oil filter. There is a hose from the oil pan to the bottom of this black box. On the top of the box is another hose that connects from the black box to the engine. If you take off the top hose to the black box the pcv valve is mounted in the top of the box.
The heater valve is located inside the heater box.
The valve is in the oil filler tube. Remove the air hose from the air box to the intake. Take off the breather hose and the air box. Now you should be able to remove the PCV valve hose and the valve itself.
The packing is located under the handle there is either a stuffing box or a nut over the valve stem

Their is no PCV valve on this engine only a crankcase vent tube connected to the bottom of the air box. Left/front of the air box.
The EGR valve on a 1996 Nissan Altima is on top of the engine. The air filter box has to be removed to access the valve.
No. You can have multiple valves in a single housing, provided you have the room for them.
