Well the obvious factor is an inappropriate diet for the child. When I speak of diet, its not so much in terms of what they eat even though that plays a part. The childs eating habbits for the day can affect their metabolism. More and more children these days go without breakfast which is the most essential meal of the day. Without breakfast it is easy for the body to assume starvation and lower your metabolism to the point that when you do eat, your body decides to store it for survival.

Currently specialists are also researching that the time the child is in the womb, they may take on the metabolic structure of the mother. They say that her habbits for when she is pregnant goes hand in hand with your metabolic structure. Now this does not mean that only overweight pregnant women can produce this result. A mother with average weight during the pregnancy can provide the same result as it solely matters what takes place diet wise over this period.
