Yes you can live with Asthma, but living in a house with a poor condition can cause a severe asthma attack. You have to watch out for animal dander, mold, dust mites, cockroaches, and pollen. Make sure all mattresses and pillows have a plastic covering over them. Keep all stuffed animals in enclosed spaces. Vacumn your carpets once per week.
People with asthma may want to avoid living in large cities with lots of pollution. Also, areas that are prone to experiencing large wildfires, like Southern California, may be avoided by people with severe asthma.

Some of my friends have asthma and they are on normal medication such as Advair and other inhalers. If you are looking to move to a higher elevation city (Flagstaff, Payson, Sedona etc) and your asthma is well controlled then that shouldn't be a problem either. However one draw back of the valley here is our poor air quality. Many who reside here, including myself, have developed a dormate case of valley fever due to the dust particles and such in the air.
