Ballistic stretches involve the lengthening of muscles during movement. They are used for warming up for training and competing in sports. These exercises are also known as dynamic stretches. The opposite of the ballistic stretch is the passive or static stretch where the stretch position is held in pace for approximately 30 seconds.
In passive stretching, the instructor moves and presses the client's body to stretch and elongate the muscles.
Lazily stretch or stretch lazily for example; '...as I groaned and stretched my legs lazily...'
static stretching is stretching without movement.

In the muscle that is being streached...point to it then have the client take a deep breath and tell them they should feel the streach here ( point to the location of the muscle being streached.) Hold it for no more the 20 sec.
