What happens when you get your ears pierced?

Well i got mine done today at a jewlers. The machine is just a grey gun and basically all they do is take the earings you have chosen out of a packet and put them into the gun. Then you sit on a chair and they will place your ear lobes into the space between the front of the earing and the back. After that the people who are doing this will say 1...2...3 and then press the leaver and the front part of the earing shoots through your ear lobe and then the back gets pressed in. Then i said "is that it?" because i left it for 2 years before i was allowed to get them done and i had 7 dreams about it and i was getting all worked up about it. And honestly i thought it would hurt a lot more. When you have them done they go a tiny bit red on the bottom of your lobe and kind of throb slightly, but it isn't agony at all.I was about to get them done before my best friend arrived but then i was like no i want to wait.I got sweaty palms aswell. So i went outside for a little while cuz i was a little bit white. After about 10 mins outside my best friend came and i was fine i just got them done first and then i was really happy. It is best to go with a friend..... i think.You get to choose what earings you want too.And you get a little booklet to tell you what to do with them.If you get em done at the beginning of the summer holidays that is good because they have chance to heal beforen you go back to school.My tip to all those people who was as scared as i was is: BE BRAVE AND YOU WILL BE THE HAPPIEST GIRL/BOY IN THE WORLD.HONESTLY. SAY YOU'LL DO IT FOR SOMETHING OR SOMEONE. TAKE A TEDDY OR SOMETHING IF IT HELPS. IT IS NOTHING REALLY.I AM HAPPY NOW I HAVE HAD IT DONE.It is best to have them done at the same time.Good luck it is worth it.
