Before the rescue remedy you would - traditionally- be observing a seizure, but there are special cases. During you would obviously be observing somebody saving the patient and the seizure "dying down". After the rescue remedy you would be observing some one not having a seizure. Hope this helps.

I have looked on the 'rescue remedy' and cannot find a list of ingredients for their product, which makes this an impossible question to answer. Of course, this is a bad sign about the company and means that they may well be hiding something; but I cannot make a conclusive decision. If you were to post the ingredients of the product, I would do my best to answer you.

Yes it is kept preserved in alcohol however it is a minimal amount and harmless to children and animals. Also, with children and animals, the dosage is halved as the body is smaller and hence have a lower tolerance.ADD:Pet versions of Rescue Remedy do not contain alcohol which could possibly harm animals in larger doses, or used for a length of time. Alcohol-free Rescue Remedy can be easily bought from US-based websites.
