If your are a licensed massage therapist, you only need to be certified in Reiki. This consists of taking classes on the subject. Otherwise, you can contact a Massage School and they can give you the information needed for your state.

Every state has different laws for practicing Reiki. The state of Florida only requires you to be a licensed msaage therapist if you are going to CHARGE for sessions. Anyone can give Reiki for free. Many practitioners use it for family, friends, and volunteer work. Most Reiki classes are 1 - 3 day workshops that can be taken on the weekends. You can find a Reiki Master teacher by visiting an online or local holistic/alternative directory.
