It means you should see your doctor. I disagree with this answer, your lymph nodes can be sore for many reasons such as, lack of sleep, a virus, dehydration or even stress. They can often swell when your sinuses are blocked, or you have a cold. They swell as a defense to protect your body from any thing it belvies should not be happening. If they are swollen for my than a week you should then see a doctor
