Get a series of readings, if possible using a home monitor, this will give you a better idea of your usual level. The level of 110/73 is fine and you may find that this is your usual level.

Systolic pressure . . . peak when the heart contractsDiastolic pressure . . . minimum when the heart is relaxed
The normal or desired blood pressure for anyone of any age or weight is 120/80.
Get it checked by someone with a blood pressure cuff. The home cuffs and the automatic machines in the drug store are sometimes unreliable.
Gravity affects blood pressure by influencing the distribution of blood in the body. When standing, gravity causes blood to pool in the lower extremities, which can lead to a decrease in blood pressure. Conversely, when lying down, gravity helps facilitate blood flow back to the heart, which can help regulate blood pressure.
Systolic Pressure (the other is Diastolic) is the squeezing of the ventricles as they push blood out of the heart and along the arteries to either the body or the lungs.Diastolic Pressure is when the heart is at its most relaxed after the Systolic squeezing.ie a Blood Pressure reading of 120/80mm Hg (which is the ideal) is 120mm HG Systolic Pressure - when there is the most force pushing the blood - over 80mm HG - when there is the least force behind the blood flow.systolic reading denotes the force of contraction of heart and diastolic reading represents relaxation of heart

Because arteries have to do with giving blood to body parts and blood pressure has to do with the amount of blood you have and the arteries have a huge part in that!!! Thank you arteries are the carriers of oygenated blood to the body . blood pressue is very high. the walls are made of elstic material which can either contract or dilate due to pressure changes. blood pressure levels can be influenced by exercise ie when muscles are in motion and temperature changes
Blood pressure increase as weight increase because of raised sodium levels and thickening of the arteries.
