Asperger's can be listed on Axis IV in connection with a medical disorder.

If there is mental retardation involved this would go on Axis II.

Otherwise, asperger's seems to fit best on Axis I.

generally, it is axis II. If the consumer suffers primarily from psychological issues stemming from MR, it may be categorized at axis I instead.
