Sores everywhere and it looks like bubbles
my 11 year old have something that looks like an abscess under her tongue on the floor of her mouth what is that?
You better take it out and do some research about what is going on.

Imagine that little thing at the back of your throat, that dangles down, now imagine a much smaller version, smaller than an ants head etc, exact on your tongue. Then imagine lots of those little things all on your tongue, and there you have it!

Geographic tongue can look different ways...in a fairly mild case, the tongue would have a slight loss of taste buds alongs the edges of the tongue. In a mre typical case, there would be what looks like bald patches on the tongue with white surrounding the patch, being clearly visible. A more severe case may develope a crack, some being 1/4 of a n inch deep.
It is not uncommon for Golden Retrievers to have black or gray spotted coloration on their tongue. As long as it looks like it is just the tongue's color, and not a growth or an infection, it should be fine.

They can get it by eating animals in the nature like mice and birds.
They have two sets of antennae, the longer set is for feeling things and the other set is like a tongue, they can taste with it, they have no tongue.
