I can only help you based on my own experiences (I am seven weeks pregnant), but before the date of my missed period, I experienced sore swollen breasts, mild abdominal cramping, tiredness, and increased levels of white cervical mucus.

It varies, you could have tender breast, nausea at the smell of certain foods or perfumes that didn't bother you before, you could have the dry heaves, you could experience dizziness, you could be thirstier than usual, you could be cranky and sensitive. If you think you are pregnant then go to OBGYN and get the test done there so you don't waste your money on a store bought. They can give false positive and vice versa and then you wind up going to Dr. anyway.

I've just took a test and it says I'm 2-3 weeks pregnant I knew already that I was about a week before I was due my period, my breasts were extra sensitive, my stomach was more bloated than usual my 'period pains' were more crampish and I had extra discharge, early pregnancy signs are normally the same as period symptoms, the best way to check though is a test I recommend clear blue

There are many signs that you may get before your period is due but all of them can have other factors. Psychologically, if you are trying to get pregnant then you may even think you are experiencing them when in fact you aren't. Early symptoms can include odd taste in mouth - metallic is usually what is described Mood swings and irritability Sore, heavy breasts Blue veins on breast or chest Nausea or vomiting Tiredness Cramping in stomach Very light bleeding also known as implantation bleeding. Please note all of these symptoms can be symptoms of an impending period or an alternative reason that should be checked by a doctor if you aren't pregnant and it persists. Even if you have all of the symptoms, the only way to know for certain is to firstly wait for your period and then to perform an pregnancy test. If you can wait to the date your period is due and then test using an early pregnancy test, you are pretty likely to get an accurate result.

You will feel tired and your breasts will begin to become very sensitive. Not every woman has signs though. Nausea can start very early in the first month. If you are diabetic or have high blood pressure you can see fluctuations in the condition. Some women have complained of headaches with the sluggish feeling in the first month. Lack of menses is another indicator, however some women have had bleeding even in the first trimester. Keep in mind if you use the test kits they can have false positive or false negative results. It is far better to see your general practitioner doctor or obstetrician/gynecologist to be tested and informed of proper pre-natal care. If you cannot afford a doctor there are free clinics for women. See your local telephone book under community services.

It isn't likely that you will notice symptoms before your missed period. That is generally going to be your first symptom. About two weeks after this you may notice other symptoms such as swollen, tender breats, nasuea, etc.

You start to feel a sick and puke every once in a while before your missed period

In fact, there aren't any. All the fetus can do at that point is to maintain its mother's hormone level so that they don't change.

You really don't have any signs because the hormone levels aren't up because of pregnancy. The missed period is the main sign.

Can you have symptoms of pregnancy just days after conceiving?

Early pregnancy symptoms can sometimes happen before a missed period and before a positive pregnancy test. Especially the 3, 4, 5, and 6 weeks pregnant signs. Early pregnancy symptoms and signs are usually related to the pregnancy hormone hCG or "Human Chorionic Gonadotropin" which is responsible for pregnancy signs. Even though hCG is usually not detectable in large number until after a missed menstrual period, there are many women who report having typical pregnancy symptoms even before they miss their period. There are early detection pregnancy tests available that can confirm pregnancy as early as 6 - 8 days after conception has occurred (well before a missed period).

Can you tell whether you pregnant before you miss your period?

Yes. Many women experience pregnancy symptoms before they have a missed period. However pregnancy symptoms and PMS symptoms closely mirror one another. If you want to know for sure a blood test from a Dr is the most accurate. There are early detection home pregnancy tests but they are likely to give you a false negative until after you miss your period.
