The ciliated columnar epithelium lines the trachea(windpipe) and bronchi(lungs). The squamous epithelium forms the delicate lining of cavities(nose and alveoli etc.)

they have cilia on the surface of their cells, these hairs 'waft' mucus
The type of tissue in the lungs is mostly epithelial. The other tissue is connective, and some of this is blood, which is a liquid connective tissue.
Epithelial cells that form the interior lining to the lungs.
A ciliated epithelial cell is adapted to remove dirt from people's lungs.
simple squamous epithelium
Lungs are made of spongey elastic tissue. Muscles around the lungs help it contract.
Ciliated epithelial cells are usually found in animals. They are involved in movement and transportation of mucus or other substances along surfaces in organs such as the respiratory tract and reproductive system. Plants do not possess ciliated epithelial cells.
Epithelial cells are found in epithelial tissue, which is a type of tissue that lines the surfaces and cavities of the body. Epithelial tissue is present in various organs throughout the body, such as the skin, lungs, stomach, and intestines. Epithelial cells play a role in protecting underlying tissues, regulating the passage of molecules, and providing sensory functions.
Simple Squamous
In brief chicken lungs are made of tissues, connective tissuesan epithelial tissues.
Epithelial tissue covers the body surface. It serves as a protective barrier against physical, chemical, and microbial damage and helps regulate the exchange of substances between the body and its environment.
Simple Squamous
Stratified squamous epithelial tissue is composed of multiple layers of squamous (flattened) cells that provide protection against mechanical stress and damage. It is found in areas of the body that are subject to abrasion and friction, such as the skin, oral cavity, and esophagus. This tissue type allows for regeneration of cells to maintain its protective function.
