well... this could be a number of things, but the most common would be seborrheic dermatitis. I've had it ever since I was 10. It is a life long condition that in most cases can be treated with an over the counter shampoo. It may or may not be genetic (I'm the only person in my family who has it). Its side effects are: sores on the scalp, itchy scalp, flaky areas of the scalp, and in some cases hair loss. The best thing to do would be to purchase a dandruff shampoo i.e. T-Gel, Head and Shoulders, Selsun Blue. Out of these choices, I would say the medicated Selsun Blue works the best for me, it has menthol in it which really helps with the itch. If they do not get better or get worse, go to a dermatologist. Since it is lifelong, you will always have little outbreaks, but you can prevent them by washing regularly with dandruff shampoo.
Scalp sores can often result from an itchy flaky scalp, where skin is starting to scale and peel off. This, particularly if combined with shampoo that is irritating the scalp, can lead to needing to scratch one's scalp to alleviate this. In doing so, the scalp can become inflamed and lead to sores.
Scalp sores, often called folliculitis, are the infection or inflammation of hair follicles. There are numerous reasons for these sores, including harsh soaps or shampoos, bacteria, mites or yeast growth.
Perming involves using chemicals that can be harsh on the scalp, potentially causing irritation or further exacerbating existing sores. The chemicals in the perm solution can penetrate the skin through the open sores, leading to discomfort, burning sensation, or even infection. It is important to allow the scalp to heal completely before undergoing any chemical treatments to avoid potential complications and ensure the health of the scalp and hair.
There are a number of different unpleasant scalp disorders that can cause open sores. Some of the most likely illnesses include ringworm, psoriasis, and a bacterial infection. All of these can be treated by a physician.
Could be ringworm, a fungal infection in which the 'sores' are a rash in the form of a circle, red inside, and whitish-grey around the ring. Some people have said that ringworm sores look like cigarette burns.
Hydrocortisone Top can be used on the scalp; however, it should not be used if there are sores or cuts in the area. Always check the package for uses before using hydrocortison products.
Because If You Scratch It , The Scratching Will Open Your Pores And Make The Perm Burn And Cause Sores On Your Scalp.
It is unlikely that a misaligned vertebra directly causes bumps and sores on the scalp. Bumps and sores on the scalp are more commonly attributed to conditions like folliculitis, dermatitis, or infections. However, misalignments in the vertebrae can potentially impact nerve function, which may indirectly affect the health of hair follicles and skin on the scalp.
Ringworm won't kill you, but can start infections that could be deadly. Untreated ringworm can result in an acute infection that may produce running sores on the scalp or painful blisters on the feet.
There are many reasons: enema, shingles or others. Do they itch? How long do they last? Look at the link below:
