No, the alcohol can damage the surface of the eye. Instead, go to an eye doctor, and have her express the material from within the stye. It should then dry up and go away.
No, you can`t go blind. If you accidently jab your eye with the needle it is possible to go blind, but not if you pop the stye. You shouldn`t pop a stye with a needle anyway - it does no good for it. You should have eye drops/and eye wash. Or have it for a long time and let it heal by itself (this should take 3 weeks to 2 years - but with correct treatment it should only take about a week). =]
Yes, You can
Visine eye drops are not typically recommended for treating a stye. Styes are caused by a bacterial infection of the eyelash follicles and usually require warm compresses to help drain the stye. If the stye persists or worsens, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional for proper treatment.
It is generally best to avoid swimming with an eye stye, as the bacteria in the water may worsen the infection. It is recommended to wait until the stye has healed before swimming to reduce the risk of complications.
Of course! However, if you find that the stye begins to redden or swell or is severe, WEAR GOGGLES!
A stye is a pimple and it shouldn’t be there for 6 months. Go to optometrist to find out what it is.
A pouck or a stye. Quite a minor eye infection. Go see your doctor. Might give you some cream to put on inside of your eyelid. To treat at home for time being, you could use some kind of eye bath such as optrex. Read the label first. You can't use if you have cateracts. Hope it clears up soon :o)
Yes if you have pink eye you can go to school but it is recommended not to. It's not like you're going to rub eye to eye or something. Just when you do go, don't rub your eye and then touch something . It's grody.
Warm compresses
Prepare a hot/very warm towel or a gauze that is slightly wet. Put that on to the stye 7 or 8 times a day. After that your stye should be gone. In case it isn't, you should contact a medical professional.First and foremost do NOT try to pop the stye. That is the worst thing to do for it as it will get infected (worse). You have two options, you can see your doctor and ask them to prescribe you with medicated eye drops that will help clear up the infection. Or, you can use a hot compress (warm wet wash cloth) for 5-10 mins, 3-4 times a day. Make sure that when you use a warm cloth you get a CLEAN one every time. This will help keep from spreading new bacteria. Avoid any make-up or moisturizer in that area. Try really hard not to touch. It should clear up on its own in a few days. If not I strong suggest going to see your doctor.
A stye should go away in a few days. These will heal on their own and no medical attention is necessary unless it is interrupting your vision.
