I went to the doctor recently re: my wrist really was hurting. Ive been doing a lot of digging in my yard, and softball..and typing at work,. and all that..he took xrays that looked fine and said I probably ruptured a blood vessel in my wrist, he said to stop taking blood thinners, and not to ice it, but heat it,. and it should go away on it own...it's been 5 days and is still killing me.

I've done that. It bruised, throbbed, was sore when I bumped it for a few days and then it was fine. You can ice it when you do it and then just be careful not to smack it on anything.

It will usually clear it up on its own, around 7-10 days.
