Took my cat to the vet today with the same symptoms, in MY case, my cat had a feline version of "diaper rash" because he's FAT...15 lbs of blubber. Please note that these symptoms can belong to a litany of issues, some which may be serious and life threatening. I suggest you get him to a vet ASAP. I was given sprays and oral meds for him and he was given a type of anti-inflamatory shot. Hope this was helpful. I actually googled this earlier and got this question, UNANSWERED. Glad I was able to add some info for the next person. HOPE THIS HELPS!

Good Luck!,
