There are places a person can go to if they have an eating disorder, anorexia and/or bulimia. They are usually called medical treatment facilities, not rehab. An eating disorder is a medical illness, like cancer. Rehab is for something like drug or alcohol abuse. A self inflicted problem, that was (usually) caused by substance abuse. A person can be born with an eating disorder, it's not a problem that is caused by substance abuse, although people who are afflicted with an eating disorder might abuse a substance as a Result of the medical problem.
Sadly yes she went for anorexia
An example could be... "Her anorexia was so sever that she was barely eating anything and was exercising for hours every single day." "That new rehab center just opened last month to treat people with eating disorders, like anorexia and bulimia."
Millions have done just so. It is estimated that 1 in every 250 people suffer from anorexia. Of those, very few ask for help. Most are forced into rehab or help.
There are many hospitals, treatment centers, and rehab centers around the world for treatment of eating disorders like anorexia. There are also many therapists and support groups (both in-person and online ones), too.
Here are some examples... "Her anorexia was getting really severe... she was barely even 70 pounds!" "By not eating any lunch and always working out, rumors began that she was becoming anorexic." "Did you hear the new rehab center for eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia just opened last month to help teens?"
Yes. She has been having emotional and physical issues with Joe Jonas and his new twilight star Ashley Greene. She checked herself in a few weeks ago and quit the tour with the Jonas brothers. She is going into rehab for cutting and anorexia.
she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder while in treatment and in an interview she said she entered rehab for anorexia/bulimia, self-harm, depression, and PTSD
The scientific name for anorexia is Anorexia Nervosa.
For those who enter rehab or medical help facilities, most will recover. Roughly 60% will eventually go on to live as much as a "normal" life after that as possible. Of those who go through rehab, about 40% will relapse. However, when treatment is delayed or never occurs at all, roughly 20% of anorexics will die.
No she does not have anorexia.
Anorexia is the correct spelling.
It is just a shorter version of the full name. Anorexia is short for Anorexia Nervosa. Therefore, Anorexia Nervosa is commonly referred to as Anorexia. (As is Bulimia. Bulimia is short for Bulimia Nervosa.)
