β 10y agoThe place were neurons transfer an impulse to another structure is called a synapses. This is actually a gap between these 2 structures and the impulse has to cover that.

β 10y agoA neuron transfers an impulse to another cell at a specialized junction called a synapse. At the synapse, the neuron releases neurotransmitters that carry the signal across the gap to the receiving cell, which can be another neuron, a muscle cell, or a gland cell.

Neuron is the unit of structure in the nervous system.
Yes, dendrites are the branching structures of a neuron that receive incoming signals from other neurons and transmit them to the cell body. They play a crucial role in integrating and processing information within the brain.

An axon terminal is the structure of a neuron (a single cell of the central or peripheral nervous system) at the end of it's axon that forms a synapse with another neuron. Generally, the axon terminal is the point at which a neuron passes information to the neurons with which it is connected.

because neuron is the cells that located in our brain
The nervous system is responsible for transmitting messages between the brain and other parts of the body. This communication occurs through specialized nerve cells called neurons, which transmit electrical signals across a network of pathways. These pathways include the spinal cord, nerves, and various neurotransmitters that allow for the rapid transmission of information throughout the body.
The input of a neuron structure consists of signals received from other neurons via dendrites. These signals are integrated in the cell body, and if the sum of these signals exceeds a certain threshold, an action potential is triggered and transmitted down the axon.
