commensalism
In ecology, commensalism is a class of relationship between two organisms where one organism benefits but the other is unaffected.
Malaria is parasitism:Parasitism is a type of symbiotic relationship between organisms of different species where one organism, the parasite, benefits at the expense of the host.
commensalism
Mutualism is similar to commensalism in that they are both symbiotic relationships in which at least one animal benefits. In Mutualism both the animals involved benefit whereas in commensalism one animal benefits and the other is neither hurt or helped.
Mutalism: Both benefit Prasitism: one benefits, other harmed Commensalism: one benefits, one doesn't care
Though often described as parasites, the relationship is an example of obligate commensalism, as the barnacles neither harm, nor benefit, their host.
The goby and grouper have a mutualistic symbiotic relationship. The goby serves as a lookout for predators while the grouper provides protection for the goby. Both species benefit from this partnership.
Some misquitoes in parts of the world give people malaria. ________________________________________________________________________ mainly, you catch malaria from mosquitos that have been infected. they are infected by laying eggs and being born out of dirty water
mutalism prtedation competition commensalism parasitism :D
An example of commensalism in the Amazon rainforest is the relationship between sloths and moths. Sloths provide a stable habitat for moths to lay their eggs and feed on algae growing on the sloth's fur. The moths benefit from this relationship by having a safe place to live and a source of food, while the sloths are unaffected.
