“is a blood sugar level of 94 considered low if you're diabetic”
In diabetes mellitus, blood pH levels are typically within the normal range of 7.35-7.45. However, complications such as diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) can lead to acidosis, lowering the blood pH below the normal range. Monitoring blood pH levels is important in managing diabetes to prevent complications.
For a non diabetic person the normal level for blood sugar is 4.0 mmol/L to 5.9 mmol/L before a meal. After a meal it will still stay under 7.8 mmol/L.
It means that the blood vessels and blood flow are normal. The part about 'within normal limits' means that there is a range. An example is that the normal range for blood glucose (sugar) is from 70-110. If you have a number somewhere in that range, your blood sugar level is fine.
The normal range for blood sugar is between 70 and 100 milligrams per deciliter. Diet is the best way to control this but people who are diabetic usually need insulin to help.
It is a chart in which you would be able to find the range of blood sugar in healthy and diabetic people. Since you are diabetic, you would better check your blood sugar level regularly and try to keep in close to the normal range.
For a Type 1 diabetic, usually 80-180 mL/d For a type 2 diabetic, its usually a smaller spectrum, 80-150 (some people say 70-180/150)
The A1C test is a blood test used to verify the blood sugar level. If the test shows that the blood sugar level is above 120, this determines that the person is diabetic.
If a diabetic goes into a coma, their blood glucose level would likely be very high, potentially above 600 mg/dL. This condition is known as diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and requires immediate medical attention to bring the blood glucose level back to a normal range.
Normal range for fasting blood glucose is 65-99 mg/dl.
I think it increases.
