Yes, I believe so. My wife took a second First Response Gold pregnancy test four days after taking the first one to confirm our positive "YES" result. The FR Gold got too wet so it displayed a "?". Being an Engineer, I wanted to see if I could fiddle with the electronic circuit so I opened the test up. Inside is an indicator strip (pink lines) just like any other pregnancy test. So all the electronic portion does is read the result to take the ambiguity out of your reading. The chemical indicator strip should still be usable if you uncap the test, but you may just have to open up the test to see your result if the electronics aren't working.
It depends on what kind of test you are taking. Depending on the level of hcg that the test picks up they can be pretty accurate. The best test right now is the clear blue digital.
Digital testers offer usually more testing options than an analog meter. They also tend to be more accurate in their readings.

No. The hormones are not enough to show if you a pregnant not. This is what the tests use to determine pregnancy. Takes, at the very least, 2 weeks but a full missed cycle is more accurate measure before testing.
A home pregnancy test is very accurate when the test is performed 3-4 weeks after intercourse. A better method of testing would be via the quantitative beta hcg pregnancy blood test which is 100% accurate and can be performed as early as 5-7 days after intercourse.
It would probably not be accurate since it is testing for the hormone HCG and you should wait until your period is due in anther 2 weeks to test again for accurate results
When testing the current draw your digital multimeter should be set on the current.
