∙ 15y agoPulse pressure is the difference between the systolic and diastolic pressure. So for a bp of 112/80, the pulse pressure would be 112-80=32 mmHg. Hope this helps.
terrible
This sort of thing usually refers to Blood Pressure. Systolic vs Diastolic blood pressure, or, pressure of your blood when your heart is beating and between beats. Whether 112 over 58 is good or bad depends on your age, sex, and fitness.
A pulse rate of 112 will not normally cause any damage. In fact, it is normal for your heart rate to be this high during light exercise. The normal pulse range is about 60-100, so 112 is not high for most people. However, if your pulse is normally lower, and your pulse rate being 112 is a change for you, see your doctor.
120 (sys) 80 (diastolic) is the classic answer for highest normal blood pressure in adults. For adults, healthy blood pressure targets depend on health history, with lower targets for adults with certain conditions. Children's blood pressure norms are based on age and height percentile.
People who are athletic may have a lower pulse (exercise strengthens the heart, and ther heart becomes more efficient at pumping blood). 117/56: this blood pressure is normal. A pulse of 50 may be normal, but you have to look at the bigger picture: * is the person symptomatic (such as dizzy, nauseated, sweaty) * is the pulse regular or irregular * is the person on any medications that would cause a lower heart rate
in teenagers the normal blood pressure is slightly more than the adult's normal blood pressure . The normal blood pressure in a 17 year old girl is 120/80.
Goof
Someone with schizophrenia who wasn't taking medication would have the same blood pressure as anyone else (112/64).
112 + 112 + 112 + 112 + 112 = 560
