and what if you still have your canine baby teeth still in
There never was an episode that showed Mady Gosselin getting her braces on. Mady's mom, Kate Gosselin, decided not to film that day since she did not know what the experience would be like for Mady. However, in the episode All Smiles (Season 4, episode 30) Cara and Mady did visit the orthodontist to see if they needed braces. And in a later episode, Mady has her braces and visits the orthodontist for an adjustment.
Hi,I have Damon System Braces. They are way smaller, the wire bends easier (this is kinda a good thing) they are heat activated (You eat/drink hot stuff and the wire is activated to move), you have them on for a less aomunt of time and require less ortho visits then traditional braces. Easier to clean around too! I would ask your ortho if these are available. My orthodontist only uses Damon braces, actually.Hope this helps, and if your getting braces, don't worry about it. You get used to them in no time and the "Do not eat" list can be a little exagerated sometimes. And they pay off in the long run. :)RHDamon Orthodontics are an excellent alternative to traditional braces as they eliminate the need for elastic or metal "ties". With Damon tie-less braces, you can experience treatment without tightening. With Damon Orthodontics, you get fast treatment time with fewer office visits, no extractions in mostcases, greater comfort without tightening, and easy to keep clean for better oral hygiene.Hi,I don't have braces, but I know that if you think braces look horrible on you, you can use invisible ones. It will hurt, but not for long. This kind of braces are best for me because I don't like being called "Braceface". This might not be the bests kind of braces for your teeth, so you may have to see a dentist before you decide if you need these kind of braces or what.Answer.brain
Braces can be very expensive, often times reaching into the thousands of dollars for a complete procedure and monthly visits. There is special financing available though to make it easier to pay.
A full set of braces costs between $4000 and $6000, which includes the cost of visits for adjustments, etc. Generally, a kid wears braces for about two years. Keep in mind that there may be other expenses, like extractions, other appliances, etc.
These days, most orthodontists or dentists don't tighten your braces. Most of them just Put in a bigger wire each time you have a checkup. This procedure can hurt the first two days. Not as bad as when you get your braces though.
its called Haley is the best and yeah i think you knew that already!!
Many people struggle to decide between getting Invisalign and traditional braces for their orthodontic treatment. It’s a conversation we have in our office again and again, as we help patients weigh the pros and cons of each option. Ultimately, every patient is different and the best option comes down to your lifestyle, your preferences, and your orthodontic needs. Here’s what to consider when you’re making your decision. The treatment time for Invisalign is often shorter than the treatment time for braces. In addition, there are no sharp metal components inside your mouth. Damaged wires and brackets are not an issue with Invisalign, so emergency visits are not required. Traditional metal braces are slightly more affordable than Invisalign. While the cost of Invisalign is covered by more and more insurance companies, you’re still more likely to have a little more coverage for metal braces. If cost is a concern, metal braces come out the winner here.
