The amount of time that they take varies from case to case. My mom's took nearly 4 hours but, she had a cyst on both ovaries. It also depends on which method they use to preform the Hysterectomy.

Depends on type. Abdominal 45-60 minutes, Vaginal 50 - 65 mins. Laproscopic 60-80 minutes on average. These are only averages and my wife had a laproscopic total with BSO which took 2 hrs including 75 minutes in recovery room.

This depends on on the way surgery is done. On average an abdominal will be roughly 50 -65 minutes. Vaginal 60-70 minutes and laproscopic 70-80 minutes. BUT it all depends on the skill of the surgeon any complications during the operation and what the surgeon may find which may require further surgery. It also depends on your weight and physique.

Depend o the type and if any complications e.g. laproscopic having to be converted to abdominal. For a straightforward no complication hysterectomy then average times are Abdominal 1 hour, Laproscopic 1hr 15. Vaginal 55 minutes.
