Once the symptoms have resolved, your should no longer be infectious. The virus establishes a latent infection where no virus is produced. The virus will, however, "wake up" and begin replicating again, this time without symptoms. This will happen for the rest of your life.

However don't sweat it, by the age of 20, 90% of people have already been infected! By the age of 35, 95% have been infected (statistics for the USA).
