cotton fever is a bacteria that is in some cotton due to the plant its grown on most of the time, also it can be from unsteral water and needles. it can take up to as long as 2 hours+ and as short as 15 min. to come into effect. You can try and prevent this by using clean water not from tap, and not reusing cottons after you rinse it. Not saying you should do drugs at all im actually in AA and am an ex "H" user but Im a strong believer in clean needles should be aloud to anyone who ask's not just people with Diabetes people are gonna use if they truly want to we should atleast try and stop STD's from being spread. Also if youre going to do drugs atleast be educated on what youre putting into your body. If you get cotton fever best thing to do is drink water get a hot shower and wait it out because its gonna be alot like w/d but worse. Good Luck!!
