Sometimes, if we are just talking about one tooth, bone grafting with either real bone taken from another edentulous area in the mouth can be used, or synthetic bone (we used something called PerioGraph years ago) mixed with normal Saline can be tried, but you should never neglect your gums so badly that they get loose in the first place.
Loose teeth are due to bone loss, which is caused by smoking, or poor nutrition, or both.
Getting regular prophys (cleanings) by a hygienist is the best way to prevent tooth loss. Tartar builds up.................gums get inflamed and irritated (gingivitis) then the bone starts receeding, and then pockets in the gum form. (the gums should be tight against the tooth, no pockets). Food keeps catching in the pockets, and eats thru the enamel, or dentin if the gum has receeded a lot. I can't imagine anyone letting their mouth go this far.
Bone keeps deteriorating and then the teeth get loose.............not good. Get regular cleaninings. IT IS THE CHEAPEST THING YOU CAN DO TO INSURE YOU KEEP YOUR TEETH!!!!!
And eat well, limit cokes and FOR GODS SAKES, STOP SMOKING!!!! NICOTINE ROBS YOUR BODY OF ALL VITAMIN C, WHICH IS A WONDERFUL SUPPLEMENT FOR YOUR GUMS.
DON'T SMOKE. IT IS BAD FOR EVERY CELL IN YOUR BODY!!!
See discussion are for more detail- senior dental consultant told me it is possible to get gum to re-adhere to teeth as this is often the reason for looseness. I have now experienced this for myself. If the looseness is severe it may not be possible.

It's not really recommended you do it yourself if you get the tooth/teeth in the wrong place the plate won't fit. Take the plate to your dentist for advice or go to a dental technician as many do repairs while you wait
If you do not secure the loose items, you might never see them again after the wind dies down.
