If your reproductive organs were not affected by chlamydia, then it will take no longer than normal. Chlamydia treatment will not affect the chances of getting pregnant. You can get pregnant while you have chlamydia. While scarring from chlamydia can sometimes cause infertility, you should not count on chlamydia to keep you from getting pregnant.

The duration of treatment for pregnant women is the same as for patients who aren't pregnant. Patients should abstain until seven days after single-dose treatment, or until seven-day treatment is complete.

That depends on the outcome of your testing and treatment. If you have been trying to conceive for a year, consult with your health care provider for advice on appropriate testing given your history.

If you only had it for a month and then got it cured I doubt you are sterile from it. But if you are worried you should ask your doctor. If you are not sterile you get pregnant like everyone else, by having vaginal intercourse. if you are sterile you and your partner would maybe have to look into IVF or adoption.

The infection takes time to affect the reproductive organs; just because you had chlamydia doesn't mean you can't get pregnant.

Unless you had pelvic inflammatory disease from chlamydia you should be fine.

If you are having regular sex at your fertile time of the month for a year without getting pregnant you should both go to a fertility specialist.

I had chlamydia and had no problems at all getting pregnant.

Pregnancy comes from sexual intercourse. If you don't get pregnant after having sex for a year without Birth Control, contact your health care provider for advice and testing.

If you have been trying for more than 12 months, talk with your reproductive health care provider about testing related to fertility. A history of chlamydia can affect fertility, but both partners should get some initial testing, because there's no way to know if the fertility challenge is related to the woman (40%), the man (40%) or both (20%).

If you've been having sex without birth control for twelve months, go to your doctor to discuss the matter. If further testing makes sense, you and your partner can start a fertility evaluation.
