There are a few options available. All states allow minors to get testing for sexually transmissible infections without parental consent (see related link). You can contact your local department of health, family planning agency, or your own primary care provider to find out the most affordable and convenient option. Your school nurse will be aware of local options. There are over-the-counter HIV tests available for purchase at the drug store.

Do consider whether there's an adult with whom you can discuss your concerns. Delaying testing and treatment if you have an STD could have life-long consequences. Is there a sister, and aunt, a counselor you can talk with? If you find a place to get tested, will you be able to get to the office, complete the treatment recommendations? Have you taken steps to avoid pregnancy?

If you are pregnant they can help you with any material needs for yourself and your baby, they offer parenting classes, assist you in applying for Medicaid, food stamps, WIC, etc. if you qualify, they can help you with an open, semi-open or closed adoption if that's what you decide would be best for your baby and yourself, and they can help you find housing if you need it.

Ask a friend to take you to a walk in clinic (Planned Parenthood, Health Department) and get treatment. If you miss class/school get an excuse from the doctor. The health department is usually free or inexpensive for people without insurance or little or no income. They even give you the meds. OR you could ask your parents to take you to the doctor. Say you would rather go in alone and ask your doctor not to tell your parents. Ask the doctor to call in the prescription, then find a way to the pharmacy.
