You can get a gel at most drug stores called Arnica Gel. Massage the gel onto the bruise, when massaging the bruise, try to massage down. For example, if you have a bruise on your thigh, massage in a downward motion towards your feet. The results won't be instant but over the next few days, it will lessen in color and get smaller.

poke it! bear with me. apply gentil pressure and graduly increase until you almost want to cry. keep pressing for about 10minutes moving the fingers every now and again, this stimulates the cells to regenerate and will reuce brusing within 24hours, well worth the pain.

Also, to reduce bruising you may use an ice pack. Stops immediate swelling and the bruise only appears later.
