The appropriate treatment for any phobia is based around gradual exposure in a controlled environment. This is typically done over the course of several sessions of psychotherapy, although there are some variants on the procedure. To get treatment, contact your insurance company to get a list of therapists in your area who take that insurance. If you don't have insurance, you can find a therapist through your phone book, Google Maps, or similar directories. While the theory behind treatment of phobias is fairly simple, especially compared to treatment of other psychological disorders, I do not recommend doing it on your own without at least some input from someone with formal training in psychology.
