Your entire platelet population turns over in 7-10 days at most. Benadryl half life is less than 8hours, so nearly ALL benadryl will be out of your system within 48 hrs. When all the Benadryl is gone, it shouldn't be more than 10 days until all your platelets are back.

Thrombocytosis is a condition of an increased number of platelets in the blood.
When platelets become low in your body, it can lead to a condition called thrombocytopenia. This can cause increased risk of bleeding and bruising, as platelets are essential for blood clotting. Severe cases of thrombocytopenia may require medical attention to prevent serious bleeding complications.
Thrombocytopenia can be caused by a variety of factors, including: Leukemia, Lymphoma, decreased platelet production, extreme blood loss due to a hemorrhage, and increased destruction of platelets in the body. These are just a few.

The damaged endothelium exposes the underlying collagen. Circulating platelets bind to the collagen activating the clotting process.
since there is destruction of the platelets, the red blood cell production in the bone marrow will increase since the platelet production will not compete with it.

Myelodysplastic syndrome can lead to low blood cell counts, including low platelets which are responsible for blood clotting. This can increase the risk of bleeding in affected individuals.
because there is only the defects in function of platelets in hemophilia and not reduction in number of platelets!
